Creative Salvation

In this competition by Maxim, the marketing association of XIMB, participants get to explore and showcase their creative side to the world where they design a print-ad on a given theme. The print-ad has to connect with the audience in a flash as well as effectively communicate the theme. The advertisement/print-ad could be a text, images, photos or combination of all these. Along with the print-ads they have to submit a write-up of not more than 50 words explaining their story or idea behind the work.

The teams will be judged by a panel of experts who will evaluate their entries based on parameters such as originality, creativity, relevance to the theme, Innovative tag-lines, Vibrancy and eye-catchiness etc. Selected entries will have to pass another test which will be, garnering likes on Maxim’s official page on Facebook. The team having maximum likes will be declared as the winner. Winners and runners-up will both get a cash prize and e-certificate and their work will be featured in Maxpress, the monthly magazine of Maxim.

This year Maxim collaborated with none other than “OYO”, India’s largest network of branded hotels and the theme for this year aptly was “#NikalChalein-Including OYO in your travel diaries”. We got a plethora of entries from  premium Indian institutes such as IIM Raipur, IIFT, IIT kharagpur to name a few, battling for cash prizes worth Rs 4000 this time. Our judges had a tough time zeroing down on a winner.
